MASCARINI THERMOCOMPRESSION
STILLS NEW SERIES FA-HRS
|
|
|
 |
|
|
THE MASCARINI
THERMOCOMPRESSION STILLS
produce distilled
water for injectable use wich
meets the requirements of the
International Pharmacopeias.
They are widely
employed in many other
industries such as: Food, Film,
Electronic and Fine Chemical.
The main
characteristics of STILMAS
thermocompression stills are:
very high efficiency, long life,
easy maintenance, standard
models range from 50 to 4.500 lt/h
output.
CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS
The construction of the
plant is made in AISI 316L
stainless steel with active
surfaces pickled and passivated.
The piping system is
manufactured with mirror polish
finished pipes and orbital welds.
The gaskets are sanitary type
made in teflon.
The insulation is made of
mineral wool covered by AISI 304
stainless steel sheet, satin
finished.
The frame is made of painted
carbon stell. |

VOLUMETRIC COMPRESSOR |
 |
They
are provided with high efficiency
rotary pistons and the accurate
construction guarantees a high level
of performance. The rotation speed
is very low (700 rpm or less for the
larger models).
All this allows:
- minimum mechanical wear and
stress;
- easy construction
- minimum maintenance requirement
and quiet operation
The compressor is made of a special
bronze alloy with nickel plated
surfaces which forms a passive
surface, inert to the ultrapure
steam contacting it. No possibility
exists of contamination of the
ultrapure steam or corrosion of the
compressor. The transmission between
the two rotors is by two gears
placed in a completely separated
gearbox to prevent any oil
contamination. |

|
DECONTAMINATION AND DEGASSING
The
action of gravitational separation alone
is able to guarantee decontamination of
the pure steam, due to the extremely low
evaporation rate and the height of the
evaporation chamber. The large capacity
hydrostatic column creates a buffer zone
where the distillate can release any
incondensable gases. |
